Visual Context Capture Options
Our visual context functionality provides translators with a visual representation of source content in real-time while they translate. In Smartling, Visual Context is created automatically for most files and Smartling connectors.
And our Global Delivery Network captures visual context as part of the native integration, and the context is dynamic – meaning translators can see their translations applied visually in real-time. Additionally, Smartling’s JavaScript Library (available as an API) is a great automated visual context capture tool for mobile apps.
Manual Capture Tools
Visual Context can also be captured manually by using Smartling’s Visual Context Crawler, Context Capture Google Chrome Extension, or by uploading an HTML or image file. Of our eight different methods for context capture, only three require manual upload, so the visual context feature isn’t something your team would spend hours configuring.
